The End of MEND Jewelry

After seven years of running our jewelry business, MEND Jewelry, it is with a mixture of emotions that we announce its closure. While it is a bittersweet decision to bring our entrepreneurial journey to an end, we are also filled with a sense of contentment knowing that we have accomplished SO much and gained invaluable experience along the way. The decision to close MEND is one driven by one of our favorite quotes “leave when the party is good."  Meaning, when you are at the pinnacle of the party, leave knowing that the last memory you have is the best one.  While MEND’s party was good prior to the pandemic, we’ve still had a hell of a time.

This chapter of our business has been filled with highs and lows, but we are grateful for the lessons learned and the memories made.

We are grateful for the over 3,000 customers we served over the years. It has been an honor to create pieces for every moment of our customers. We have been continually inspired by the strength and resilience of our customers, and we thank you for your support.

MEND couldn’t have flourished into the business it has without our partner Max the funding and guidance of our investors, Katherine and Randy who believed in us and vision for MEND when no one else did. Their support has been invaluable, and we thank them for everything they have done.

Highlights of the past seven years include: opening a store in the Mall of America, one of the largest malls in the world. That experience taught us a lot on what it takes to run a store at an iconic destination, and we loved connecting with customers from all over.

We are also proud to have had a partnership with Nordstrom and carried in over 30 stores across the country.  We attended over 100 events (rain or shine!) that allowed us to connect and befriend fellow artists alike.

As we say goodbye to MEND, we are excited for the next chapter. If you want to follow along our newest venture, JDP Consult, you can follow Jordyn at @jordyndiorio on Instagram and listen to her newest podcast with Sara Schultz called the Refund.

Thank you to each and every one of our amazing customers, partners, investors, cheerleaders and friends for being a part of this journey with us.

With love always,

Jordyn + Katherine
